Grade 8 Midterms:
* LA midterm Wednesday, February 8 (Day 4), periods 1 and 2
* Math midterm Monday, February 12 (Day 6), periods 1 and 2

Science 8S
Today we finished up "What is Light" and started on "Reflection." The students are doing their disease presentations tomorrow.

Math 8S
We are working on adding and subtracting mixed numbers. Assignment: handout questions 1-15.

Science 7X
We watched a short video on an all natural Rube Goldberg machine, did a quick write-up on our "Keep It Warm" lab from yesterday, and finished up topics 7 and 8 of our Heat and Temperature unit. Assignment: text p. 257 questions 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10. Due Monday.

Math 7X
We continued our review for our midterm exam next week. Yesterday we reviewed whole numbers. Today we reviewed decimals. Assignment: decimals handout

PE 8S
Today we played King's Court 3 on 3 basketball.

Video Game Design
We added some diamonds, doors and bonus coins to our game.
